What is the DDC?

The DDC is a group of committed individuals  focused on helping develop Daybreak by… 

• Offering advice and council in matters of  strategic importance (Strategic Planning)

• Leading through acts of service and giving of resources (Leadership)H

• Helping secure funding for future endeavors (Financial Support)

• Ensuring faithful commitment to our mission (Mission)

While all areas of Christian camping are important to Daybreak, these four areas will have a significant impact on the future of the camp.

 

Why is the DDC being created?

Daybreaks influence continues to grow. The Daybreak experience has helped shape the lives of many students and we want others to share in that same blessing. The creation of the DDC will help ensure focused development that will maximize effective use of resources and expand the impact and influence of Daybreak for many generations to come.

• Encourage students to attend a Daybreak Camp

• Encourage your home church to have a camp and family ministry program with Daybreak Camp

• Provide advice and counsel on matters of strategic importance by attending Development Council meetings ONCE a year

• Contributing financial support and leadership

• Serve as a goodwill ambassador in your home church and help identify prospective council members who are committed to the mission of  Daybreak
