Adventure Camp

Thank you for your interest in applying to be a CIT or OTS.

OTS—20-25—Junior/Middle School students to work with kitchen patrol,
assisting leaders, rest room cleaning, precamper care, AM and PM activities,
kitchen and dining hall clean up, etc.
Junior Staff positions available for responsible, previous teen camp workers who have completed the 11th/12th grade! To inquire. . . Call Daybreak at 831-335-2756.

1. Read all papers before beginning this process.

2. Schedule a appointment interview with your youth minister.

• If you do not have a youth minister, you will need to contact an adult at your church for a recommendation to work at camp. They can respond to the recommendation by calling Daybreak or emailing at info@daybreakcamp.org to recommend you. If you use the recommendation form they must be mailed directly to Daybreak Camp by the per- son that is recommending you for the position.

• If you have worked before at Adventure Camp begin the process with #3.

3. Each applicant MUST write a letter to Daybreak Camp telling us of your talents/gifts that God has blessed you with, and how you will use those to serve and minister to the campers and staff. Also, tell us your goals for camp service.

4. Fill out the staff application.

5. Make a copy of the front and back of your insurance card to include with the application.

6. If you’re applying to be an OTS, you MUST have a sponsor/chaperone at camp. This can be a parent or another adult that will be serving at camp. Both you and your chaperone must sign the chaperone form and return it to Daybreak with your staff application.

7. All staff will report to camp one day before campers arrive. Staff training will be done at camp.

8. Staff fee is $85.00.

Complete this process and mail all papers to Daybreak Camp in one envelope
Deadline for completed applications will be June 1, 2008 .
